Events -- Awareness
Through
the following programs and events, PAIRWN aims to broaden the awareness
of all people to the PAIRWN's mission, programs, and services and to the
experiences and needs of immigrant and refugee women living in
Pennsylvania.
Publicity and Awareness Drives
Are you a member of the press/media? Or, does your business, agency, religious center, or other organization have a media outlet?
Whether through television or radio, newspaper or magazine, email list or word-of-mouth, help us share the news about PAIRWN to people across the state!
Resource Booklet Project
The Resource Booklet Project is one of our most recent initiatives to provide immigrant and refugee women with the information they need to live to their fullest potential.
The Resource Booklet will not only include contact information for local resources for health care, employment, education, childcare, government services, and much more, but will also include detailed and up-to-date listings of the best people to contact at those agencies, the availability of translation and interpretation services and bilingual staff, costs, and eligibility.
The Resource Booklet will be distributed state-wide in numerous languages, including English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
