She met her husband, a first-generation U.S. citizen whose parents came to the U.S. as refugees from Central America, while working at Penn State. This rich cultural heritage is one that Sarah and her husband aim to also pass along to their baby girl. Sarah enjoys international travel and learning more about different corners of the world, in addition to reading and cooking diverse foods. Sarah and her husband aim to bring their passion for global understanding and service to PAIRWN, and help to provide transitional support to immigrant and refugee women who are settling in Pennsylvania.
