Young Women's Leadership Training

What: A workshop for immigrant and refugee women ages 18-25
When: Saturday, August 7th, 8:30AM-5PM
Where: GIANT Community Center, Camp Hill

This training will take the form of an intensive, day-long workshop for twenty immigrant and refugee women ages 18-25. The agenda is packed with inspiring speakers, engaging activities, and career-oriented luncheon. Participants will have the chance to hear directly from numerous immigrant and refugee women leaders from a range of backgrounds, work with each other and several enthusiastic facilitators to develop insight into their personal leadership styles and leadership goals, and talk with established women leaders in various career fields. Registration costs only $10 and includes all activities, breakfast, and lunch!

Board of Directors Retreat and Leadership Training

In order to promote empowerment and connection among our Board of Directors and develop the skills to make PAIRWN a high-quality, innovative resource for immigrant and refugee women in the state, PAIRWN aims to provide for leadership training and retreats for its Board each year.

 


PAIRWN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being of immigrant and refugee communities in Pennsylvania. As the first organization in Pennsylvania to focus directly on immigrant and refugee women's issues, PAIRWN has a crucial and ground-breaking mission.
