These meetings often take place in two parts. Firstly, we hold a Story Circle. Immigrant and refugee women are encouraged to come and share their stories of their journey to Pennsylvania, to meet women who have had similar experiences, and to practice their English in a casual, friendly atmosphere. After the Story Circle, we hold a Member Meeting that updates our members on PAIRWN events and goals.

All are welcome to attend these gatherings! Often the Story Circle Program and Member Meetings are the first contact we have with new immigrants and refugees or with new members and friends of PAIRWN, who hear about the Story Circles and come to learn more about our organization.

PAIRWN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being of immigrant and refugee communities in Pennsylvania. As the first organization in Pennsylvania to focus directly on immigrant and refugee women's issues, PAIRWN has a crucial and ground-breaking mission.
