DV/FBV Project Coordinator – Muslim Youth Community Educators

We’re hiring a Project Coordinator to support PAIRWN and Peaceful Families Project’s mission to provide crucial services to underserved communities, work with Muslim youth, and train them to be Community Educators.  

Requirements: 

  • Recruit and train 10 Muslim youth (ages 18 – 24) as Community Educators
  • Coordinate the creation of culturally relevant materials and ten community education sessions
  • Establish monthly online support sessions for Muslim youth
  • Implement project plans and provide regular updates to PFP and PAIRWN teams
  • Manage logistics for trainings, events, and workshops
  • Coordinate social media and website updates related to the program 
  • Provide resources on DV/FBV to stakeholders in Harrisburg Muslim communities 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a related field with 1-3 years of nonprofit experience
  • Experience with Muslim youth and project management (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills
  • Knowledge of community resources and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficient in computer and social media management (graphic design is a plus)
  • Knowledge in Arabic, Urdu, Dari/Farsi, French, or Mandingo preferred
