Help Ministries – Rental Assistance Program
Services Available:
- Assist with rent in case of potential eviction
Screening/Application Process:
- Call – the office is doing all the intakes over the phone and are not accepting any walk-ins.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Resident
- Be homeless or facing eviction
- Have a written agreement with the landlord agreeing to stop the eviction
- Have sufficient income over the amount of rent to pay for utilities, food, and basic living expenses
- Have written verification of all house

Harrisburg Housing Authority
Services Available:
- HHA has 1,324 Public Housing units and administers 724 Section 8 Vouchers in the City of Harrisburg.
Must be US citizen or qualified noncitizen.

Thrive Housing Services
Services Available:
- Supporting youth, individuals, and families in obtaining affordable housing.
- Furnishing warehouse: for $75 individuals can schedule an appointment to receive home furnishings
Need State ID or Driver’s License or student ID.
